Tour

Hey Fam,
Sitting here in our hotel in Santa Barbara. I love this city. It's so nice here. I keep forgetting that I'm in America. It reminds of the South of France a lot.
-We got here late Friday night and played an outside college party after driving for 9 hours. It was wild. There were over 100 people there dancing to our music. It sooo much fun. We hung out with our manager, Tim. We went back to our room and got wahasted...me and Draper for some silly reason started wrestling around and I ended up throwing him into the wall and he cut his head. I felt really bad at the time, but we're all laughing about it now. Tony filmed the whole thing, it's pretty hilarious. We hung out with Tim all day yesterday and went to beach, skateboarded, hung out...
We played downtown Santa Barbara lastnight at a place called Velvet Jones. There weren't a ton of people there, but it was a lot of fun. Tim set up a "photo shoot" for us today at some crazy wharehouse. It was really funny because we're all freaking retards and can't be serious for 2 seconds. We took this really stupid picture of us jumping while Nate stood still with his typical grumpy look. But I'm so retarded that I ended up falling down and hit my head on a spot light. (this is also on film and is hilarious) We have just been taking it easy today. We head down to LA manana. LA is going to seem like hell compared to this place. But oh well, at least we get to rock.
I love you guys. See you soon,
-James

MIRRORS is now officially THE DAYS THE NIGHTS. We had to change our name due to other bands having the name first. Specifically a band from LA that was trademarked and still touring, it was in everyone's opinion to address this issue before we put out our first record, toured, built any sort of fan base and then had to change our name. We would have had to start from scratch. We had our attorney/manager do a very extensive search on the law regarding this and all signs were pointing towards changing the name. This sucks, I really like the name MIRRORS. I kind of got out-voted on THE DAYS THE NIGHTS,it wasn't my favorite but that's how it goes, we're a democratic band and have to make decisions quickly. So that's that. You're new favorite band is: THE DAYS THE NIGHTS!!!!
